FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Faculty of Science and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya originated from the Rajamangala Institute of Technology. Following the Rajamangala University of Technology Act of 2005, the institute was separated into nine universities. On January 19, 2006, all southern departments of the Rajamangala Institute of Technology were merged. This included the Southern Campus in Songkhla Province, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Sai Yai) in Thung Song District, the Faculty of Agriculture in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thung Yai District, Sriwichai Campus in Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, and the Faculty of Science and Fisheries Technology in Sikao District, Trang Province. The institution was renamed “Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya” on November 14, 2006. On that date, the Ministry of Education issued a notification of ministerial regulations establishing 15 departments within Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus consists of three faculties:
- Faculty of Science and Technology
- Faculty of Agriculture
- Faculty of Management Technology
The Faculty of Science and Technology offers teaching and learning in four departments:
- Science Department
- Technology Department
- General Education Department
- Thai Traditional Medicine Department
