About the Department of Computer Science
History
The Department of Computer Science was founded in the 2007 academic year. It first opened a Bachelor of Science Program, then set up its own program (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology) in 2008 and later organized a transfer program (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology). It is presently administered by Ajarn Wisalak Kunthanarungrot, and there are eleven teachers in the department.
Vision
The Department of Computer Science aims to produce quality graduates with knowledge in Information Technology, virtues and morality.
Mission
1. To produce computer science graduates who have virtues and morality.
2. To do research, invention and innovation in information technology.
3. To develop quality teachers with academic knowledge and higher qualifications.
4. To give academic services in response to the needs of the society.
5. To preserve religions, promote Thai culture & local wisdom and conserve the
environment.
Goals
1. To produce graduates with practice skills in computer science, virtues and morality.
2. To develop quality graduates with knowledge and professional skills which are
consistent with the needs of the society.
3. To do research, invention and innovation for teaching and social development.
4. To develop personnel’s qualifications with an increasing ratio of master’s and
doctorate degrees.
5. To earn income from projects and academic service activities.
6. To develop information system for managing the organization efficiently.
7. To arrange the activities which support morality, environment conservation, arts
and culture.
